Beaded jewelry can be found virtually anywhere across the world in many different cultures, and throughout history. Beads are made from glass, plastic, gems, wood, ivory, rocks, and many more materials. Because of many different materials beads can be made of, the variety of different beads and beaded necklaces, bracelets and rings, is virtually endless.  

The price of beads is generally inexpensive, making beaded jewelry generally inexpensive. However, like all types of jewelry, it isn’t overly difficult to find high-end expensive beads or expensive jewelry made of beads. Exotic beads that come from overseas and fancier glass beads tend to be the more expensive bead category.  

Making beaded jewelry is a popular and very fun hobby. Not only do you get to have fun making jewelry that perfectly fits you and your outfits, but you also have a one-of-a-kind piece of beautiful jewelry.  Kits with clasps, string, and beads are available at most arts and crafts stores, making jewelry creating easier. Different unique beads are available to order on various internet sites and specialty bead shops.
